This week, Symfony announced the end of support for Twig 2 and a security release for the symfony/ux-autocomplete package.
Twig 2.0 was released in January 2017 and Twig 3.0 in November 2019, almost 4 years ago. I think it's time to end the maintenance of Twig 2. The end of life will be end of December 2023.
If you haven't upgraded yet, you can read the Twig deprecated page for Twig 2 to get more information about what changed between Twig 2 and Twig 3 and how to upgrade.
As a consequence, Symfony 7.0 won't support Twig 2.
Affected Versions
Versions < 2.11.1 are of the symfony/ux-autocomplete
package are affected by this security issue.

Good things always come in threes: the API Platform Conference is back on Thursday, September 21st, and Friday, September 22nd, 2023 in Lille (France) and it's also available online. Security, architecture, best practices, and many case studies are the major topics for this year's edition. Here is a sneak peek of what you can expect:
SymfonyCon Brussels 2023 will take place on December 7-8 at the Square conference center for the annual international Symfony conference! Again this year, we are proud to offer IT students the opportunity to participate as volunteers during this event.
Symfony has been on a multi-year effort to add all PHP type declarations to its code. After adding parameter types in Symfony 5, and many return types in Symfony 6, we are getting close to end of the initiative in Symfony 7.0.
